This commission was a project to reproduce a set of six side chairs and one arm chair for Carlyle House in Alexandria, Virginia. They are a set of high-style rococo chairs in mahogany having carved claw and ball feet, a central anthemion and acanthus leaves on the knees and on the pierced splat.
